Lesung und Gespräch mit Tobias Schlegl: Leichtes Herz und schwere Beine. Mit Mama auf dem Jakobsweg

On June 26 at 5 p.m., Tobias Schlegl will be reading from his book "Leichtes Herz und schwere Beine. With mom on the Way of St. James".

Tobi Schlegl, known as a former presenter on the music channel "Viva", the ARD satire magazine "extra 3" and the ZDF culture program "aspekte", made a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela on the Camino Francés two years ago with his then 73-year-old mother. He then recorded their shared experiences in his book, which became a bestseller. In it, he describes how their journey together intensified his relationship with his mother and awakened an unexpected passion for pilgrimage in him.

At the event as part of the "Pilgrims' Café in the Evening" series, the author will read from his book and then talk to pilgrim pastor Frank Karpa about what he has described.
