Everything is turning white! ...the tree... the forest... the winter forest!
Look over there—the fox. It’s leaping through the snow and playing with the snowflakes. Fresh snow... deep snow... a blanket of snow.
It’s warm inside the little house. The tea is steaming in the cup.
Snow cloud... snow flurry... snowstorm! — But where is the fox?!
Luckily, the elf is keeping watch. He never leaves anyone alone in the cold. Snow-capped mountains... snowlight... snowy night.
They say that when the snow begins to sparkle, you can make a wish.

“Light Blizzard – Snow Sparkle” is a bilingual puppet show in German Sign Language and spoken language. Thetext is spoken on stage in both languages simultaneously by the performer Mirjam Hesse, so that the show is understandable to both Deaf* and hearing audiences. Language is used very sparingly and serves primarily as a playful, stimulating exploration of the lexical field “snow.”
