What do we need in difficult times? Courage, backbone, confidence ... and songs that help us. Rational and emotional. Just like the songs by Gerhard Gundermann, Hans-Eckardt Wenzel and Holger Biege: powerful and sensitive songs, rousing and thought-provoking at the same time. They deal with longings and fears, right and wrong, morality and power. About resisting. Sometimes poetic and melancholy, sometimes cheeky and aggressive - always with touching depth. A depth that is urgently needed so that we don't stick to our habits like flies to glue (Gundermann). Radio and television deny us the songs. At Club Voltaire you can be enchanted and strengthened by them.
Heike Leitschuh (vocals, piano), Claus Mühlberger (piano, vocals), Paul Schäfer (guitar, vocals) will ensure a moving evening.
