What once began as a small jazz combo at Linde is now a lively big band with around 20 talented musicians, including saxophonists and a singer. All members are amateurs who share a great passion for the diverse styles of big band music.
The band's repertoire has continuously evolved over the years. In the early years, the focus was on swing and Latin numbers, while under the direction of band leader Holger Bischof, funk, rock, soul and hip-hop also found their way into the repertoire. There is a particular focus on constantly developing new and exciting pieces outside of the mainstream. This provides musical challenges as well as varied and entertaining performances.
When the weather is fine, the band plays outdoors with an open "ramp". In rainy weather, the concert takes place indoors. So you can enjoy musical highlights regardless of the weather conditions.
