In German sign language with simultaneous translation into spoken language
Who doesn't know the world-famous musical Linie 1, which has been performed in every language around the world? NOW, however, it is being presented for the first time and uniquely in German Sign Language. Simultaneously in spoken language, of course, so that everyone can experience this highlight together - without language barriers.
A brief synopsis, even if you know it: Sunny, a girl from the country, comes to Berlin in search of the rock musician Johnny. She gets stuck on the subway line 1, gets caught up in the maelstrom of the big city and meets a variety of different characters. The musical gives an idea of the state people in Berlin were in at the time and at the same time you can also recognize the Berlin of today. So everything is allowed: laughter, tears and reflection - both about others and especially about oneself.
In this journey back in time to the 80s, eleven Taube actors slip into 60 different roles and show what they are capable of: The time is ripe for a musical with sign language performance by deaf native speakers!
