In the run-up to Christmas, students of the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf present their program in the atmospheric rooms of the Orangery at Benrath Palace.

Electress Elisabeth "Lisi" Augusta was a cheerful personality with a deep love of music. Together with her husband Carl Theodor, she supported musicians far beyond the usual level and turned festivals and concerts into glamorous events. In Lisi's name, we now invite young, up-and-coming artists to perform at Benrath Palace and fill the historic rooms with wonderful sounds.

The Christmas concert is part of the music year and is sponsored by the Sparda-Bank West Foundation for Art, Culture and Social Affairs.
