Hanns-Josef Ortheil: Reading dinner on "Schwebebahnen"

In his new novel "Schwebebahnen", the passionate gourmet Hanns-Josef Ortheil also tells of the culinary discovery of Italy by the Germans at the end of the 1950s and beginning of the 1960s. Italian cuisine brings an unexpected lightness to German melancholy and opens up new horizons in many respects. Based on Ortheil's new novel "Schwebebahnen", the kitchen of the Altenberger Hof has developed a menu that literarily accompanies Ortheil. A read with a napkin tied around it and a song of praise to Italianità: a double pleasure in any case!
