Strike a pose! In this special format, live drawing meets ballroom on Thursday, November 13, from 7 pm at the NRW-Forum. A drawing course with drama, drinks and a DJ - you can capture different poses of the three performers in your sketchbook in a relaxed atmosphere. No previous knowledge is required. Bring your drawing materials and off you go!

The event is taking place in cooperation with Shapes &Shades e.V., which is primarily dedicated to promoting ballroom culture.

*Ballroom originated in New York in the 1960s - supported by the black and Latin American LGBTQIA+ community. People came together in so-called balls to celebrate each other, perform and compete against each other in various categories. The focus is on dance, fashion, self-expression and competition. Participants compete in categories such as voguing, runway, lip-sync, drag or sex siren - often inspired by the aesthetics and glamor of the fashion world.
