Loisach Marci

"Do something cool with musical tradition, but don't mess it up" is how the Partenkirchen native describes his ambitions between alphorn, electro sound and 14 self-played instruments, which are used alternately. Catchy, rhythmic sound experiments on a broad bass base. It's not really possible to pin it all down, he is too multi-faceted, too soft, too wild and too cheeky and likes to rummage extensively in all available genres.

With his alpine art, Marcel Engler a.k.a. Loisach Marci is undoubtedly treading a completely unique and new musical path away from canned music. For him, it is more than art, it is a way of life. A unique sound, UNHEARD in the truest, double and very best sense.
