Choreographer Diana Wöhrl's piece shows laughter as a positive force, but also sheds light on its insecurities, ambivalences and social dimensions.
The performance explores and embodies human laughter in all its facets:
As a means of communication, as a social mask and protective shield and as an expression of deep emotions.
The combination of dance, text and live music, accompanied by a diverse soundtrack of classical, electronic and techno music, creates a thought-provoking work.
The piece is an examination of social structures and the current political situation. It calls for a new experience of community through cohesion, openness and solidarity.
This is a guest performance organized by 4fT - Tanzplattform Leipzig
A production by choreoloop - platform for contemporary dance e.V.
"Supported by the NATIONAL PERFORMANCE NETZ Guest Performance Funding Dance International, funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media."
