LOLA Slam Bergedorf

We're bringing the slam back to the suburbs! At the LOLA Slam, some of the city's best poets take to the stage every two months to compete against each other.

What's it all about?

Poetry slam is a live poetry competition. The performers have five minutes to convince the audience of themselves and their texts. Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes funny, sometimes heart-warming, whether political cabaret or profound poetry, everything is allowed and it all belongs on the slam stage. Poetry slam is diversity, art and entertainment all combined in one event and in the end the audience decides what they liked best to determine the best poet of the evening.
