Los Van Van Cuba's is undoubtedly Cuba's number 1 and one of the most important salsa bands in the world. Founded over 50 years ago, the group is a constant trendsetter and innovator, shaping the Cuban music scene like no other.
The Grammy award-winning sound of the 16-piece orchestra is as unique as it is unrivaled on the entire Latin scene. Recognizable by countless hits and many international awards, including the Grammy Life Achievement Special Award which was presented to founder Juan Formell shortly before his unexpected death in 2013.
Today, led by son and world-class drummer Samuel Formell, Los Van Van impresses with an explosive mix of experienced musicians from the first generations and a selection of Cuba's outstanding talents. In their luggage is the album 'Modo Van Van' - another milestone in Cuban music!
