On Sunday, December 27, 2026, Back to the Roots invites you to a special rock'n'roll night in the Kesselhaus at the Kulturbrauerei. The musical legacy of Lemmy Kilmister - Motörhead frontman, hard rock icon and one of the most influential personalities in rock history - will take center stage.
After Lemmy's death in December 2015, his bandmates made a clear appeal to fans worldwide: Play his music loud. Celebrate life. Tell stories. That's exactly how he would have wanted it. The Back to the Roots - Lemmy Tribute Night follows this call, bringing Lemmy's spirit back to the stage with uncompromising rock'n'roll. Finally back with Motörblast and Nitrogods as the ultimate Lemmy and Motörhead tribute.
Motörblast
Motörblast have been regarded as one of the most authentic Motörhead tribute bands in Europe since 2006. The band celebrates the sound, energy and show of Lemmy & Co. with impressive attention to detail. Frontman "Dr. Ape", known as the "German Lemmy", impresses with his legendary bass sound and astonishing visual resemblance. The setlist ranges from early classics to later anthems - an uncompromising Motörhead illusion at the highest level.
Nitrogods
Nitrogods stand for pure, unfiltered rock'n'roll: loud, dirty and direct. The band around ex-Primal Fear drummer Klaus Sperling combines hard rock, punk attitude and metal groove to create an explosive live experience. Not a tribute band, but a formation that embodies exactly the spirit that Lemmy lived for: attitude, honesty and maximum volume.
Back to the roots - Lemmy lives.
A night for all those who see rock'n'roll not as nostalgia but as a way of life.Top of Form
