LOVE by Billinger & Schulz explores it through the musical—the genre that has historically portrayed it in the most unabashed way. An ensemble of contemporary dancers directly captures its exuberance, intensity, and pathos: the tenderness, the longing, the body surrendering to emotion. And the moments when love reaches its limits and other realities intrude. LOVE celebrates emotion and fragility—and asks what remains of love when the world shatters it.
