What to expect on the individual dates:

16.5.2024 and 11.7.2024, 1 p.m., guided curator tour

One of the curators responsible for the project at the Bauhaus-Archiv Berlin will give you an insight into the extensive research process on Otti Berger during a tour of the exhibition. The widely scattered work of the textile designer has been reconstructed for the first time. Judith Raum's installation makes the research process comprehensible and allows visitors to experience the designer's sophisticated fabrics with reweavings.

13.6.2024, 1 pm, guided tour with Katja Stelz

In collaboration with the artist Judith Raum, the weaver and textile designer has rewoven two wall fabrics by Otti Berger in a research process lasting several years. Both fabrics make the sophistication of Berger's work tangible in the installation. A tour and discussion provide an insight into the elaborate artistic research process and the challenging technical implementation.
