EDEKA Maaß Oberneuland, together with Emotional.Zone, Oberneuland Magazin, Rausgegangen.de and Cafe-Schwarz.TV, has been presenting Maaßkultur every Wednesday from May to October since 2023. From 17:30 to 20:30, whereby... the end of the concert is largely determined by the audience (i.e. you)!

STEFAN THIELEN
(talks about himself)

I've been making music since 1985. First as a drummer and singer in a rock'n'roll band. Later as a bass player, singer and rhythm guitarist in various country bands.

In 1997 I graduated from the SAE Berlin with a diploma in audio engineering. Afterwards I was on tour with a touring musical as sound engineer and technical director. After that I also made dance music for a few years. In my own small recording studio I realize various productions.

At the moment I play and sing in various projects and bands, but mainly solo.

I play guitar/saxophone and sing. You can hear:
Pop/rock, oldies, rock'n roll, country, Irish folk, blues, some jazz, singer-songwriter. Instrumentals, also hits and dance music, etc.
My program consists of a large selection of songs from the last 60 years that I have always enjoyed playing over the years and songs that I have always wanted to play.

The use of a loop station and various other equipment allows me to make my program interesting and versatile

My musical path has already taken me to:
Los Angeles, CA USA, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah (UAE), Switzerland (St Moritz, Lago Magiore, Saas Fee and many more), Austria, BeNeLux, Spain (Mallorca & mainland), and all over Germany. I am often on the road and like to play my music selection for the people.

Free admission. Just come along and enjoy good music and good conversation with acquaintances, friends and strangers, or maybe even a little dance!!!?

Don't worry about Bremen's shietwetter, if it rains too much we'll just move to the Lieblingscafé. The Lieblingscafé will also offer a special snack menu on the evenings of MAASSKULTUR, so you can enjoy your evening meal on site.
Enjoy a few hours of music in a relaxed atmosphere on our (hopefully always summery) square with musicians and bands from a wide variety of genres. And if you like it - musicians love spotlights - then you are welcome to leave something for the musicians and bands...
