Maggie Reilly & Band - German Tour 2024

There are few female artists who can look back on such a varied and successful career as Maggie Reilly. From soul and funk-influenced beginnings in the seventies with her group Cado Belle, to a world career as a singer and stage attraction with the Mike Oldfield Group, to a highly regarded institution as a solo artist, Maggie Reilly has been a fixture in show business for nearly 40 years.

After recording her first album with the formation Cado Belle in 1976, an album clearly influenced by soul and West Coast, and touring the world together with greats such as Poco, Maggie Reilly achieved her worldwide breakthrough in 1981 as the singer of the Mike Oldfield Group.

It is her voice that made hits like "Moonlight Shadow", "Family Man", "To France" or "Foreign Affair" the personal soundtrack of millions. Even today, these songs are part of the fixed repertoire of radio stations and have won their permanent place in the history of music and in the lives of music lovers.

At the end of the eighties Maggie Reilly took time for her family. In 1992 she made a remarkable comeback with her first solo album "Echoes". Her very first single, "Everytime We Touch," stormed to the top of the international charts and proved that the Scottish singer could also tie in with the success of her time with Mike Oldfield as a solo artist and songwriter in her own right.

Further successes followed with the hits "Wait", "Follow The Midnight Sun", "Listen To Your Heart", "Every Single Heartbeat" , and "Always You". "Everytime We Touch" even managed to storm to the top of the charts a second time. As a dance version of the band Cascada, it occupied the first place in the US charts for weeks.

Maggie Reilly was part of this year's "Rock Meets Classic" line up and thrilled the fans.
