Magie mit Papier und Schere - Geschichten und Ansprachen zum Leben erwecken

In the organizer's words:

The magician Gudrun Hartmaier introduces you to the magic of good presentations: The creative use of paper and scissors opens up fantastic opportunities for storytellers and speakers to make narratives and messages not only audible but also visually tangible. In this event, participants will learn how to charge words with emotion using simple, easily replicable examples to touch the hearts of the audience and create unforgettable magical moments.

The event is part of the series "Puppets - Chat - Try it out: Die GFP bittet zu Tisch", a mixture of workshop and regulars' table, impulse lecture and practical demonstration by the Gesellschaft zur Förderung des Puppenspiels e.V. (GFP). Puppet theater enthusiasts meet regularly in small groups to discover new, surprising and unusual aspects of puppetry. This time, the event takes place at the invitation of the Münchner Stadtmuseum in the Schlachthofviertel.

In the project "Mittendrin. A district tells its story(s)", the Münchner Stadtmuseum traces the history of the slaughterhouse and the Grossmarkthalle. The theater company "El Solar", which specializes in object theater, is developing a theater installation with objects from the district and the Münchner Stadtmuseum together with the residents of the district.

The Münchner Stadtmuseum and the Gesellschaft zur Förderung des Puppenspiels e.V. are united by the question: What stories can objects tell us - and what stories do we tell with them?
