"mahoin" combines lively and frivolous sailor's yarns with well-known melodies from the harbors of this world and underpins them with a pounding beat and Nordic musicality. When "mahoin" picks up speed, it's "Denn man tau"! There is singing, chatting, laughing and dancing on stage and in the hall.
"mahoin" is a sailor marching band in a class of its own. Handmade in the port of Hamburg. Brass band? Anyone can do that! "mahoin" - these are the musical sailors of tomorrow with the pulse of St. Pauli. Shanty hype on tiktok? "mahoin" goes one step further! The five musicians in sailor pants play the Wellerman in fish minor. What should we do with the drunken sailor?
