Join Us for an Exclusive Culinary Showcase with Malaysia's Culinary Maestro, Chef Ismail Ahmad!

Prepare to be swept away on a gastronomic journey led by the renowned Malaysian culinary sensation, Chef Ismail Ahmad. In this one-of-a-kind workshop, you will have the privilege of witnessing a true culinary master at work as he shares the secrets behind two iconic Malaysian dishes: Melakka Nonya Laksa and Acar Timun.

This is a workshop where the chef will show you how to cook a dish. He will explain and show all the steps to you. Questions are answered as we go. In the end, all participants get to eat the prepared food. The recipes will be handed out at the end of the workshop. This is not a hands on cooking class, it is a "show and tell".

Chef Ismail Ahmad

Chef Dato Ismail Ahmad has been a household name in Malaysia's culinary world spanning the past three decades. Blessed with vast and impressive cooking skills, he studied and graduated from the hotel, culinary and hospitality school of the renowned ITM Shah Alam. He also has his own restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, named 'Restoran Rebung' and if you're ever in KL, it is a must!

Throughout his career as a celebrity chef, he has been appointed as the gastronomic ambassador for Tourism Malaysia, and also the ambassador for Ministry of Health Malaysia. Chef's Dato alma mater also has recognized him as culinary icon.

Despite being actively involved in book publishing, as well as international and local food and travel shows, this multitalented celebrity chef is no stranger to being the spokesperson and the ambassador for many cooking products. With bags of experience under his belt, Dato' Chef frequently represents Malaysia in the efforts of promoting their unique culture, food and heritage all over the world. Not only that, he also imparts his knowledge and skills through charity and multiple non- governmental organization as well as government programs across Malaysia.
