Malika Tirolien is a remarkable singer, musician, songwriter and producer from Guadeloupe who now lives in Montreal. She is coming to Bergson Kunstkraftwerk for you in November! Together with her brand new combo GeminiCrab, she will be performing from the perspective of the millennials, to whom the title "Gen Y Lens" of her current album refers. In seven catchy songs about love, growing up and the multifaceted realities of millennials, the band playfully reflects on different musical eras.
In doing so, they combine different musical styles. Malika's beguilingly warm and powerful voice - which stars such as Snarky Puppy and Bokanté also appreciate - is joined by fat beats, soulful influences and elements of hip hop, combined with lyrics in English and French. An exciting mix that will surprise you.
