MANDRAGORA TITANIA - Epic metal with folk flair

MANDRAGORA TITANIA combine powerful riffs, orchestral soundscapes and driving rhythms with deliberately used folk elements - especially the distinctive bagpipes give the sound an unmistakable touch. The mixture of nagging and clear vocals, double bass and epic orchestra unfolds a rousing energy, somewhere between battle song and legendary world.The seven musicians from Jena have stood for a sound that has been constantly evolving since 2015. After their multi-award-winning debut EP (German Rock and Pop Prize 2016) and their debut album "Der Vagabund" (2020), the atmospherically dense work "Rex Silvarum" followed in 2022 - produced by Dom R. Crey (Nothgard, Equilibrium) and released via MDD Records.Festival stages such as Mead & Greed, Hörnerfest, Helmfest, the Thorshammer Festival or the Mahlstrom Open Air prove the band's live strength - powerful, well-rehearsed and with a charismatic stage presence somewhere between ranger, warrior and rough-and-tumble party mood. 2025 sees the release of the third studio album - musically more powerful and modern, with more focus on the epic metal part, without giving up the folky identity. A music video for the single "Rotes Tuch" and new promo photos already provide a visual foretaste, while the release also marks a new chapter: MANDRAGORA THURINGIA becomes MANDRAGORA TITANIA - a name that reflects the band's development towards a larger, more cinematic sound.
