The Brazilian singer Marcia Bittencourt from Rio de Janeiro, an artistic fixture for Latin American music in northern Germany for years, brings a new program to the stage together with the multi-award-winning jazz guitarist @Julian Scarcella: light, poetic, rhythmically finely interlocked.
The focus is on Marcia's own compositions such as the song Molengo, produced together with Julian Scarcella, which combines Brazilian lightness with jazzy harmonies. Scarcella, whose playing moves between jazz, rock and South American rhythms, shares a clear attitude with Marcia: music should touch, connect and speak across borders - without being stylistically defined.
