The comedy “Marilyn and Me” by Peter Quilter (JUDY, GLORIOUS) tells the story of Wolfgang, a widower who lives alone in his house after his wife’s death and talks to a poster of Marilyn Monroe that reminds him of his wife. When his children, Jan and Laura, come to visit, they notice his “strange” behavior. At the same time, Wolfgang announces his intention to sell the family home, which leads to conflict. The play humorously depicts the evolution of a family that must navigate the everyday challenges of setting boundaries, growing up, and reshaping their lives in their later years. And MARILYN is right in the middle of it all—causing confusion and helping them overcome obstacles.
