The MARKTHALLE ACHT presents the MARKTTÖNE every Thursday (except public holidays).
from 7 to 9 pm (new from June 2023), whereby..., the end of the concert is largely determined by the audience (i.e. you)!

ZINNEY SONNENBERG

Since his return from the UK, where he released several albums and EPs under the name "Sonnenberg" after years of collaboration with the Liverpool record label "Probe Plus Records", singer/songwriter and guitarist Zinney Sonnenberg is currently back on the road in mainland Europe.
At concerts, the musician presents his songs in pure form with guitar and his unmistakable voice, which gets under your skin, in English and German.

Among other things, Zinney's lyrics describe impressions and moments, walks by the sea lost in thought "...moonlight is dancing on the incoming tide..."), declarations of love to his musical and spiritual home Liverpool ("Mersey Moon", "Another River"), as well as experiences and snapshots of journeys ("Amsterdam", "Leise Reise").
With songs such as "Better Together" and "War No More", Zinney appeals to humanity and encourages the adoption of a positive perspective with "Into The Light" and "End Of The Rain".

All concerts are hat concerts, which means YOU as a guest decide what amount you think is appropriate and put in the hat. There is no rule for this, you alone decide. A little tip: musicians create their works, rehearse and come to us at the venue! Musicians love "spotlights" and any amount is welcome - just like you! We accept cash or EC cash! The amount goes 100% to the musicians on the same evening.
