Marlene sits in her dressing room in Sydney, before her last big show. Once again she brings the diva in her to life, with the legendary costumes, lots of make-up and tight corsets. She recalls her successes and scandals and shares them with us candidly. Saskia Leder plays and sings Marlene in all phases of her life: Self-absorbed and self-deprecating, bossy and delightfully feminine, flirtatious and serious. And always with the cheeky and coarse wit of the original Berliner. Funny, refreshing, beautiful - because: "If I laugh too much, I have to pee!"
