Beethoven's revolutionary third symphony overwhelmed audiences with its energy in 1804. Martha Bijlsma and her Flex Ensemble reactivate this force: They combine a contemporary prelude and postlude, specially composed by Gordon Williamson, as well as Jonas Urbat's electronic soundscapes to the lively quartet version.
