For Japanese pianist Masako Ohta, her "Music Garden" is like humus that nourishes all our lives. Ohta combines music by Schubert, Mozart, Chopin, Brahms, Debussy, Zimmermann and Cage with contemporary Japanese sounds by Hosokawa, Fujieda and Yasuda to create a poetic garden of delicate and sensitive sounds. "In Dialogue..." she plays composed pieces to which she adds an improvisation. She enters into a dialog with the composition through her own inner events.

Her third solo album "My Music Garden" was released in November 2025 by Winter & Winter ".
