Mat Clasen (Saxophon Solo, Comedy)

Mat Clasen toured the world for many years as a saxophonist with James Last, Otto Waalkes and other renowned artists before deciding to step out of the background and into the center of the stage with his saxophone solo show. He has been working on the solo program for some time now, incorporating not only his experience as an outstanding musician but also as a successful poetry slammer. Musically, he moves confidently between classical, jazz, soul and Balkan music, always surprisingly arranged and enriched with his own haunting compositions. Although the juggling with three burning saxophones doesn't quite work yet, Mat Clasen comes frighteningly close with his virtuoso and entertaining saxophone show.
