Matteo Mancuso is an outstanding guitarist from Sicily who is currently regarded as one of the most exciting talents on the European music scene. With an unmistakable finger technique - completely without plectrum - he creates a unique sound that combines elements of jazz, fusion, rock and classical music. Mancuso represents a new generation of musicians who combine technical brilliance with stylistic openness and deep musical expressiveness. His playing is precise, virtuosic and at the same time full of feeling, a rare combination that has made him famous far beyond the guitar scene.

His international breakthrough began in 2017 at the Umbria Jazz Festival, where he was awarded a scholarship to the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston. This was followed by appearances at the NAMM show in Los Angeles, the Young Guitar Festival in Bangkok as well as concert tours and masterclasses in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Milan, among others. With his early band Snips and later in trio format, he was present at festivals throughout Europe. In recent years, he has played alongside greats such as Al Di Meola, Tommy Emmanuel and PFM. In 2023, he released his debut album The Journey on the Mascot Label Group, which also represents artists such as Joe Bonamassa and Steve Lukather.

The Journey shows Mancuso's versatility and compositional maturity. The pieces range from lyrical, atmospheric jazz to rock fusion and rhythmically complex instrumental pieces with a Mediterranean flair. Each track tells its own story, virtuosic but never self-indulgent, technically impressive but always committed to musical expression. With this album, Matteo Mancuso not only establishes himself as a guitarist, but also as an independent artistic storyteller. In 2026, he will continue to tour Europe - with new compositions, new timbres and a clear vision of what modern guitar music can sound like today.
