The cards are shuffled, dealt and the game begins. With a little strategy, I may be able to influence the end of the game. If the strategy doesn't help, I can also cheat. And after each game, the cards are reshuffled.
In their new production, the actors from ensemble23 translate a card game on stage into their view of life. What can I influence? What cards am I dealt to play? Couldn't everything have turned out differently if I had made a different decision? What sounds like bar conversations just before the pub closes, ensemble23 brings to the stage without words in a pictorial-musical performance. A woman sees her life in the abundance of events and decisions as they happened or could have happened or should have happened or she dreamed of them or or, or, or, or, or ... Until the last card is played.
