Cancellation for "Like father and son" on 25.03.2026

Last Saturday, Gerd Knebel, longtime BADESALZ partner and friend of Henni Nachtsheim, passed away after a serious illness.
Henni: "It' s hard for me to describe how I feel. Because even if you know that you can't keep an illness like this at bay in the long term, it's still different when the time comes.
As his loss as a Badesalz partner and especially as a close friend hurts me incredibly and I first need time to digest it, I unfortunately have to cancel the performances planned for March with the live podcast "Wie Vater in Sohn"."

Unfortunately, the cancellation also affects the performance of Henni & Max Nachtsheim with the program "Wie Vater und Sohn" planned for 25 March 2026 at the Kulturzentrum Mainz.

Henni is currently not in a position to perform a comedy program in which much is reminiscent of Gerd.

Tickets that have already been purchased can be returned to the place where they were bought.

There are plenty of podcasts. On all kinds of topics, and in all kinds of combinations and compositions. But there are hardly any father and son podcasts.

Of course, that alone is no reason to start one. But if father and son like to talk to each other, if they are both interested in what the other generation thinks about certain things, what they have to say, and if they are both keen to combine this with enough humor, a father and son podcast makes perfect sense! Just like the one by and with Max and Henni Nachtsheim.

Max (son) is now a well-known podcast personality throughout Germany thanks to many successful formats such as "Radio Nukular". Henni (father) is no stranger either, not least as one half of the comedy duo "Badesalz" and various other artistic projects. And they are now chatting to each other. About what interests them both, moves them or sometimes annoys them. "Like father and son!"
