"Freed from dogma, I ignite the next rocket stage. The jazzy approach is still there - jazzy in the sense of using pieces as a vehicle for the flow. But my sound palette has expanded. I increasingly use analog sound generators and electro-acoustic instruments such as Fender Rhodes. Drums, electric guitar and my keyboard castle combine to create a hot fuel mixture that can do anything from delicate to brute and makes us take off. I am inspired by the music of Bach, Beethoven and Bartok as well as jazz, pop and rock. The transitions in my compositions are fluid, from newly conceived standards to programmatic pieces and even suspended arrangements. What do we sound like? A kind of minimal music for maximalists."
