Euripides wrote the drama "Medea" in 431 BC. So 2456 years ago. During this time, many new things were discovered and invented. Christianity, electricity and the internet. Mankind experienced epochs such as the Middle Ages, the Baroque and the Enlightenment. Humanity was and is always changing. Nevertheless, Medea's situation is closer to that of some women today than we would like.
