This year's media parents' evening is aimed at parents of pre-school and primary school children as well as teachers who work with this target group.

In the introductory lecture , media educator Natascha Könches will address the question of what successful media use can look like. The use of media by children is the subject of very controversial debate. Some completely reject it, others are very unconcerned about the subject. How can children be given age-appropriate access to media? What is the creative potential of media? What do parents and educators need to know and consider?

In addition to the lecture, a "market of opportunities" offers the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts as well as numerous hands-on stations that provide suggestions for the joint use of media by parents and children.

In addition, the city library offers a large media exhibition, a flyer bar and numerous link tips on further training, podcasts and funding opportunities.
