Medieval Steel have been one of the biggest cult names in US epic heavy metal since the early 80s. Few releases, but all the more influence - carried by anthemic songs, pathos and exactly the kind of guitar work that still has an impact today. Templar strike a similar chord, combining classic heavy metal with an epic atmosphere and a clear love of the traditional sound.
