Founded in 1983 in Montesano, Washington, the Melvins are one of the most influential bands in modern music. Founded by Buzz Osborne (vocals/guitar) and joined a year later by drummer Dale Crover, the Melvins pioneered the cross-genre fusion of punk rock and heavy metal. Over the course of their four-decade career, they have released more than 30 albums, countless live recordings and numerous singles and rarities. With their latest album "Thunderball", the band is now coming back to Germany.
