MEUTE - Gießener Kultursommer

On August 28, 2026, the Hamburg-based techno marching band MEUTE will transform the Giessen Cultural Summer into a pulsating open-air experience. Eleven musicians in red uniforms will unleash an energy with their trumpets, trombones, and drums that’s usually only felt in clubs around the world—raw, hypnotic, and absolutely danceable.

Since its founding in 2015, MEUTE has caused a sensation worldwide with performances at festivals such as Coachella, Fusion, and Sziget. Over 600 concerts in more than 30 countries and sold-out venues from Berlin to Mexico City have made the band a global phenomenon.

To celebrate their tenth anniversary, MEUTE is bringing their “JUBEL – 10 YEARS” tour and the best-of album of the same name to Giessen—an exhilarating mix of techno, brass, and euphoria. When MEUTE takes the stage, the bass thumps—and the Klosterhof dances.
