Despite the great distraction, the dreams that have become distant and the feeling of division, pause for a moment, breathe a sigh of relief and hope: this is where Miriam Hanika's new album "Light" leads.

Miriam Hanika & das kleine Poesieorchester, a versatile ensemble of multi-instrumentalists, present their new album at the Pfarrzentrum Aichach before its release. Between chamber music, art-pop and jazz, they redefine the concept of boundless music.
Last but not least, the poet's imaginatively alienated main instruments - oboe and cor anglais - make Miriam Hanika one of the most extraordinary voices on the German music scene.

Her music has won several awards. In 2024 she received the Hanns-Seidel Foundation's prize for young songwriters and in 2021 the City of Munich's music scholarship. With the Dandelion Quintet she won first prize at the international Ars Ventus competition for chamber music in 2019. Her second album Louise (2021) was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award.
