The Vocal Ensemble Frankfurt and Collegium Musicum Vocale Darmstadt present: The Misa Tango by composer Martin Palmeri, with its special Argentinian flair, inspires with its innovative and spectacular combination of two poles so far apart: the painfully passionate emotionality of the tango and the religiousness and austerity of the Latin mass text. Martin Palmeri's psalm setting Nisi Dominus has hardly been performed since its premiere in Nuremberg in 2022 and it was a particularly powerful experience to get to know the work and now make it known to a wider audience. A rousing concert awaits you.
