Missa Sine Nomine
In the organizer's words:
Missa Sine Nomine
Missa Sine Nomine is a contemporary organ cycle in five parts by composer and organist Stephanie Troscheit.
Between sound and silence, a space emerges in which listening becomes possible in a different way. The music combines composed passages with free improvisation; between the individual parts, deliberately crafted moments of silence create a space for pause and resonance.
The Missa Sine Nomine is not a Mass in the liturgical sense, but rather a space for musical experience. It invites listeners to leave their everyday lives behind for a while and immerse themselves in sound, space, and silence.
Every performance is unique: some parts are fixed in the composition, while others emerge in the moment—in dialogue with the instrument, the church space, and the audience.
