Rousing rhythms meet old chorales and new melodies: the concert "Around the world with 3 organs and 2 saxophones" takes the audience through different cultures and styles - from early music to tangos and jazz.

Berlin organist Volker Jaekel (organ, portative) and saxophonist Gert Anklam (saxophones, sheng) create orchestral soundscapes, soulful improvisations and unusual arrangements of classical works. In addition to the large organ, two rare instruments are used: the Chinese mouth organ Sheng and the medieval portative.

The entertaining concert is presented by the musicians themselves - lively, humorous and with many insights into the creation of their music. An evening full of energy, poetry and unexpected timbres that goes far beyond the usual organ clichés.
