Inclusive Open Stage with Susanne Plassmann and participants
At the moment, there is a small, select group of people with disabilities in Munich who we see on stage. Hand-picked, there are "special" performance venues for people who live a different sexual orientation to Hinz and Kunz. "Non-bio-Germans" have their own issues and people over their early 30s are often overlooked.
Open Stage always means: everyone can come on stage, everything can be shown. However, the places where an Open Stage takes place are often not for everyone:
Who can get into the basements where performances often take place?
Who can climb 3 steps onto a stage?
Who do we normally see there?
MIT ALLES! offers a truly open stage for all people with and without disabilities. We don't care about your skin color, you can love whoever you want, and if you're over 45, you're totally welcome here (under 45 too, but age-ism is the very last thing at PATHOS - right after adultism). That's what our colorful banner says.
MIT ALLES! is to become a joint performance venue. "Niche stars" and total newcomers will shine alongside renowned performers and familiar faces - get to know each other! Get to know us! Connect with each other!
Together with our audience, we at PATHOS theater want to take responsibility for the climate impact costs associated with the unavoidable emissions of our theater. The €2 or €6 surcharge on the ticket price goes 100% to the Climate Fair project, which is committed to promoting social and ecological transformation in Germany and here in Munich (e.g. by investing in green electricity systems and energy-saving projects).
