Let us take you on a change of perspective! We will explore Rostock's eventful history with you, from the first Slavic castle to the present day. In the city harbor you can discover many milestones, big and small, of our old Hanseatic city. Because it all began on the water. Climb aboard and experience a city tour with a difference! You are the protagonist and paddle in a single or double kayak. The group gathers at prominent meeting points and learns interesting facts about Rostock. The Unterwarnow offers wonderful urban and maritime views as well as plenty of nature. With a bit of luck, kingfishers and even sea eagles can be spotted. Our city paddle tours take you for two hours through the city harbor and the Petriviertel. The kayaks are stable and ideal for beginners. You do not need to have any paddling experience. Before each tour there is a briefing on paddling and safety. Life jackets are compulsory for all participants. We also provide each paddler with a spray hood to protect them from splashing water and light rain. The start and finish is at a starting point "Am Haargraben" near the Vorpommern bridge. Fixed tours take place from April to October daily from 10 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm. We also offer a "moonlight tour" in the evening from mid-May to mid-September.
