In the organizer's words:
On midsummer night, when the sun goes to sleep below the horizon, fires are lit. People dance around the flames and jump over them; this brings good luck and protects against evil. The summer solstice is a festival that lasts well into the night. We will dance by the Rhine and celebrate our ritual.
