Momi Maiga Kora, vocals & composition (Beethovenfest Fellow 2026)
Pre-release concert of the new solo album
Momi Maiga comes from a living tradition: as part of a Senegalese family of griot musicians, he was born into the cradle of poetry and music. On the final evening of his fellowship, he will present the songs from his first solo album, which will be released shortly after the festival, in an intimate setting.
The fellowship program is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the City of Bonn
