In the organizer's words:

The little girl Momo suddenly appears out of nowhere in the ruins of an amphitheater on the outskirts of a village. She has nothing but what she finds or what people give her, and an extraordinary gift: she always has time and is a wonderful listener. She soon makes many friends throughout the village, including Gigi and Beppo. Momo could hardly be happier if the mysterious Greys didn't appear on the scene one day. They are representatives of a "time savings bank" and are after people's precious life time. The adults are quickly persuaded to "save time" and only Momo and her friends can stop the Greys.
A race for time begins, which Momo can only win if she succeeds in finding Master Hora, the master of time, and giving people back their stolen time. But until then it is an adventurous and also very lonely path...

The Junges Theater Bonn is now presenting Michael Ende's popular novel 'Momo' in a completely new stage adaptation. In addition to some of the JTB's professional ensemble, a total of twelve children are also involved in the production. Olja Artes staged the play for audiences aged 8 and over.
