Moonkidis currently one of the most exciting newcomers in the German-speaking world. With his mix of modern German rock, catchy pop melodies, and emo influences, he strikes a chord with a generation that grew up listening to Lil Peep and XXXTentacion just as much as Tokio Hotel or Die Ärzte. His debut album, “GESCHICHTEN VOM MOND,” will be released on September 11. His first solo tour in March 2026 was already completely sold out. This was followed by support shows for Swiss & Die Anderen and Lostboi Lino, his first festival season, and collaborative songs with Edo Saiya and Swiss & Die Anderen. At the same time, his social media content reaches millions of people every month. The title “Der letzte deutsche Rockstart” is a nod to the phrase “Deutschrock ist zurück” (“German rock is back”), which went viral in connection with his song “BORDSTEIN.” What was originally meant as a tongue-in-cheek reference now pretty much sums up what Moonkid stands for. He brings the energy and attitude of classic German rock into the present—for generations who no longer define rock by leather jackets, but by taking a stand, being loud, and screaming out their feelings unfiltered. “DER LETZTE DEUTSCHE ROCKSTAR” is the next step.
