Much Ado About Nothing

In the organizer's words:

“I love nothing in the world as much as I love you: isn’t that strange?”

The war is over, no one of importance has died, so let the festivities begin! Don Pedro is bringing his rabble of rowdy, randy soldiers back to Italy for a good *and* a long time, and the ladies of the house are *very* excited to welcome them. Beatrice and Benedick, Claudio and Hero, Dogberry and Verges, Borachio and Margaret, Conrade and Ursula… the potential for marriage, mischief, and mayhem runs deep in Shakespeare’s legendary comedy, Much Ado About Nothing.

The audience will be transported back to the year 1600 as if it were the very first staging of *Much Ado*, with fanciful costumes, historical dances, audience participation, and lute players galore!

“The world must be peopled.”

Written by the Bard, directed by Josiane Segar, in collaboration with Sophie Schulze and Connor Fox.

*The play is in English, but the text has been adapted to make it more accessible to an international audience, so everyone is welcome! Bring your throwing fruits and gold ducats.*
