Native speakers will read adventurous and touching stories about diversity and living together in Arabic, English, Turkish, and German. This is a joint event organized by the City Library and the Grundschule am Wasser.The venue is accessible.
 

Action Weeks 2026 in Northern Bremen

Readings, workshops, guided tours, and hands-on activities—from September 9 to 25, 2026, the Action Weeks against Exclusion and Discrimination will take place in northern Bremen. Together with you, we want to advocate for diverse ways of life, participation, and solidarity. Let’s take a stand against the far right and all forms of group-based hostility!

Since 2017, the Action Weeks have been organized by a broad coalition of associations, institutions, and committed individuals from the region. As organizers, we aim to encourage people to critically examine their own prejudices. In addition to raising awareness about discriminatory structures, the events also focus on networking, exchange, and empowerment. Come join us—we look forward to seeing you!
